Geddy Lee Squier bass

Discuss:

Seems like some ultra-lame marketing imo.

I'd rather get a used Geddy for that price.... I guess this is aimed at the very serious and very complete Rush junk collector

I'm confused, is this something Fender is offering directly, or is this something with the RUSH peoples directly? If the latter, it's more like "Well played, RUSH...well played..."

And to IPA, I would not call this bass Junk per se...the VM series has a lot of fans here. Including myself. Now the Silvertone KISS series? That was garbage.

I'm no good at this capitolism thing. Or rather, I would be if it was real capitolism driven by, y'know, supply and demand and all that sort of thing not just driven by about ten massive companies with tenticles everywhere...

I remember buying a BRAND NEW Fender Geddy Lee Jazz Bass (Japan) for $609 ($629 minus $20 w/coupon).

Wow, how times have changed.

Should of at least had a white pearloid pickguard. A Huge rip off though. Buy the Squier for 300 less and put whatever stickers on it you want.
