Plus 1 to that. Getty and Geedy basses must be very rare thing form Fender, never seen one.
My MIJ Geddy have stock pups, never going to replace them.

Flounder Getty le are no good. They have bad trust rods.

Now, the Geddy Lee jazzes are nice, very. If you know some history, they are modeled after the Jazz Geddy used in the eighties, not what he's currently using the most.

So that is the reason the Getty Le never became popular?? Bad trust rods?? Well,,, luckily Fender used other truss rods on the Geddy Lee sig. Jazz!
