Not enough to warrant a visit to the guitar shop.
Unlike the full-scale TB of course. |

It is probably my most comfortable bass. Neck is thin and fast. Pickups are deep and clear. Hardware is what one would expect from a Gibson. Balance is good, no neck dive.
The only complaint I have is the quality of the finish. But, it is the finish that they were going for. Just not what I want and am having it refinished Arctic white when I get the two that are out for paint and modding back. Just like the look of white T-Birds.
Have it strung with D'Addario tapewounds.
If I could only keep 2 or 3 of my basses, it would be one of them.

If I could only keep 2 or 3 of my basses, it would be one of them. | I agree with everything here, except that I like the satin finish. Very comfortable. I like it much better than the glossy finish on my vintage Thunderbirds.
Also, I use D'Addario EXL-160S 50-105 strings, because I wanted a higher gauge with the short scale. They are perfect for me.
