got the pick guard for my Squier VM Jazz fretless...

This is how it would look. I'm kinda on the fence about it, honestly. What do you guys think?

Looks good. I'd rock it.

That's what I'm thinking. It looks naked without it. I guess it just kinda freaks me out to drill 10 holes in my bass! Taking sandpaper and paint to it was hard enough...!

I like the pick guard, and dislike the fact that your bass can go w/o the pick guard, while my MIM Fender cannot.

Really like that. I would love to have something like that, only fretted.

Looks like a nice fit. Where did you get it from? I may be starting a search for a new pickguard for my VM jazz.

I don't know, I like Jazzes with no pickguards.

Also, that's a very nuclear color. I like it.

I asked my fretless and she was like, "Man, I just feel so self-conscious and exposed without it. It is already hard to get through life without frets...it's a wonder I don't develop a complex! Plus, all the Fenders make fun of me for being a Squier. DO IT! DRILL HOLES IN ME!"

I bought the stupid thing, I might as well slap it on there.

To put it another way, I like the pick guard and will probably throw it on there...but how much of a pain is it to fill in the holes if I change my mind again later?!
