Gotoh 201 on a Geddy Lee Jazz?

I've got a black Gotoh 201 that I'd put on a Geddy Jazz (when I order it.) It'd be Sunburst, would there be any issue (either with finish or mounting holes) doing that?

Shouldn't be a problem. If it had the Badass on it the may be some dents in the finish you can see since it bigger than the Gotoh. I personally like the Gotoh over the badass.

Finish dents were my main concern haha

You could take it off and see what it looks like. Then order based on that.

Would anyone with a Sunburst Geddy Jazz (preferably recent years) be willing to take a pic of theirs without the bridge on?

there's not the slightest reason to remove the stock leo quan for a 201; you gain nothing by doing that and you lose the proper string pacing over the pickups.

Does the stock bridge hang over the body?

Yeah, I'm not seeing an advantage over trading in the BAII for a Gotoh 201. If anything, I think you'll be paying extra money for a downgrade.

I think it is to change from chrome to black and to not have to dish out the extra cash for a Badass replacement. Could be wrong though...
