Not crazy about the head stock design but otherwise I really dig it. I bet it sounds great!

Great looking instrument, Mr. Valenti does excellent work.
And you know something...If it plays like you want it to,and feels just right..then it IS absolutely the greatest bass ever made!

I think some of you are taking the title a little to literal.

As far as the color, its beautiful. I dig red though! The bass really pops in person. The photos do not do it justice.

The tone in all three settings is unreal. All are very usable! The neck feels great and the overall build quality is excellent!

Simply put, it's elegant simplicity. Ash-bodied? I love his headstock shape.

No sir, alder.

His headstock design is my favorite Fender inspired headstock.

Thank you all for the compliments!

You've got good taste. That bass is so well executed. Given the sizzling CAR finish, Nordy pole-pieces, double string trees and bright maple board the decision to go without markers, pickguard and a simple/classic control layout is just outstanding. You see so many basses similar to this with blocks, perloid and excess chrome, IMO it really detracts from the functional beauty.

If the rest of the bass is built as well as the cavity you may be right! What a beauty!

Thanks guys!

If you can't tell, I like simplicity. Passive electronics, no pg/chromeplate, and no fret markers.

You are smart to have the series parallel and single/humbucker switching. That's going to be a versatile bass. And it really a beauty, too.Congrats!

Very cool bass! I got #119 in December and will be picking up #83 next week! Then placing my order for a custom. Nino is top notch. Great stuff at a more than fair price point. Enjoy your bass!
