Personally, I would not trust the "cheap" necks because I've no experience with them...
However, the only way to get "experience," is to actually buy and try them!
It is my personal preference not to purchase anything from Japan or China (for different reasons). Unfortunately, in the case of Zino made, you typically get what you pay for. As regards Japanese made products, it's political, and 1st amendment practice is forbidden here when it comes to politics... So I hold my tongue...
