Guitars you wish had bass versions

Really, with all the varieties of Spongebob guitars, ukuleles and even drum kits, the fact that there's apparently no market for Spongebob basses makes me wonder.

I do actually have this guitar. A bass with a 34" scale and a mudbucker would be awesome.

Yeah, it looks like alien furniture from some sci-fi movie. For some reason I like it, though.

And, of course, the Chavcision bass. I do plan to actually make this one a reality.

That's me. What would the rest of TB like to see in a bass version? I imagine it'll be generally more tasteful than my choices.

If this thread already exists, sorry - I tried a search but it's not a search-friendly subject...

I'm gonna flip it around and wish for a 6 and 8 string guitar version of the Dingwall ABZ, and a Jazz bass shaped guitar, complete with pickguard and control plate.

Yeah, I want mine to look more like actual Burberry plaid. Then again that's probably even worse, isn't it? LOL.

Naaah. It's an attempt to make a bass that Eastern European girls who don't know anything about musical instruments will appreciate.

Just reintroduced this year, (MF hasn't added a pic to the weblink yet.) $899

They've also reintroduced the Bass Flying V. MF has pics for this one. I would assume the Explorer might be similar in style. $899

I'd like to see, and therefore plan to build an Army Bass and and Air Guitar (flip flop of those shown below).

As for production models, I'd like to see a Strat bass either in a short scale (using a strat body) or a alternately a 3 pickup J bass would be cool too. Probably will build a SS strat bass one day though others have done it so that takes away some of the attraction. Its more fun to be original.
