Hardee HJB 24

Hi guys.
I tried Hardee HJB 24 jazz bass copy in natural finished yesterday.
I think the sound is just like squier standard jazz.
It is Indonesian local brand (www.hardeeguitars.com) and priced about $280.
It has indian cedar/mahogany body with canadian spruce neck & fretboard.
The body wood has bright brown colour with straight grain.
The fretboard & neck has bright yellowish colour with straight & smooth grain.
Do you guys have any experiences with these woods?
How about the tone quality of the woods?

Is the body cedar or mahogany? Is it a choice between the two?

The 5 is super narrow neck but the wood looks nice. Normally I don't like the control plate- no pick guard look but on that bass it looks good.

Finally...at least there is a response..

I don't know either is it a combination or a choice between indian cedar and mahogany.
But I think it is kind of subtitution of the supplies. When they have some indian cedar they use it and when they have mahogany they use the mahogany.

Let's just say the body made from indian cedar, I just curious about the tonal quality of indian cedar on the body and the canadian spruce on the neck & fretboard.
Are they good or not??
