When I get GAS now it's mainly for accessories, effects and stuff, but it's mainly under control. I'm currently waiting for a new amp head to be delivered, but that wasn't GAS so much as it was a necessity for the project I'm currently involved in.
I will get myelf a nice Jazz bass at some point, but there's no rush. Meanwhile I am constructing my own photography gear, so I am staying busy enough to avoid blowing money.

all this happened this week, because we have to vintage cars that are now more weekend cruisers and the property in the desert was just too good to pass up, i didn't play a country music record backwards, but i did listen to the white coma by marilyn manson over and over again before all of this happened

Lessee. Had to buy a new car (old one rusted in two!) I'm looking for a new house, I just sent off a huge amount of cash for medical insurance for the year (no new pets though) and I thought my GAS was totally cured when I cried at GC because there were no more basses left to buy!
That was, of course, BEFORE I checked the TB classifieds just for drill! What to my wondering eyes doth appear but the very Blueburst G&L L-2500 that I have been Jonesing for ever since it's (now previous) owner posted a photo on TB for NBD! You guessed it! NB(for me)D is scheduled for early part of next week!
Does it EVER END? |

And right now, I happen to love the five I have and would be hard pressed to sell any of them. That's not to say I don't still do a lot of window shopping, but it would have to be something really special for me to make a move. (I posted this three minutes after saying in another thread that I'm GAS'ing for a seafoam green bass. So, take me with a grain of salt.)
