Help identifying a bass

Hey guys. Someone in my area has this bass listed for sale. They're advertising it as a 70's MIJ epiphone. I don't know much about older gibson's etc and was wondering from this picture if anyone could give me any insight as to what kind of a piece this is ( quality, playability) and what a decent offer for it would be. Thanks in advance.

This is indeed a MIJ epiphone from the 70's. It was back before epiphone just made Gibson copies. I actually have a guitar version of the bass pictured here and it is one of my favorite sounding guitars. If the price is right I'd say jump on it.
