Help me name my new bass

I just bought one of these, in white: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/bass/...ic-bass-guitar

I want to give it a cool female name, mostly so I can tell my wife, "I'm going to go finger so-and-so."

So far, the best I've come up with is Leia. I know you guys can find some funny and awesome names, so let me hear 'em!

Nice looking bass. I dont know the brand very well but I love the binding and the body colour. Very classy looking. She looks like a fine set of pearls so I'd call her "Pearl". Mind you, I have a guinea pig called 'Ian' and a parrot called 'Moose' so I might not be the best person to be naming stuff.

I agree, your animal naming might need improving but I like your idea.

Sorry, but I'm not saying to my wife, "I'm going to go finger Ralph."

I couldn't think of a female name vaguely similar to "Schecter" or "Blackjack," so I took the latter half of the latter name. Good?

No name. And if it does have a name its gotta be off the cuff.

I say stupid things to certain bass lines I come up with and so everytime I pull my Jag off the wall I say 'well, what we gonna do?' Just for something I played on it one day after a heavy James Brown session. Haha.

Its like an inside joke between the bass and Myself.

She has already forbade the name Kate, because Kate Beckinsale is one of my favorites.

I must be missing the point!
An inside joke between your bass and yourself... really?
I find this entire topic just a lot sad.

I'd also avoid any of your wife's friends, or family!

But The Bass looks like an Ella to me!

How about Phil McCracken? Then you can tell your wife "I don't have time for you this evening, I want to play.... tonight!
Get someone else to name your bass with a female name,so you can tell your wife you are going to finger soanso? That is truly weird, Michael.

Given the situation, I'd go with "Myyaz" or "Your Mother"

Hector the Schecter. Nice bass. I have a black Damien Elite 5 and I really like it but the setup was ass-rotten out of the box.
