Help a premium member valuate ken smith #41?

Attachment 304336

This bass just turned 30. I have been throwing out teasers on trades for a similar 5, mostly because I don't know what the proper cash value of this lovely beast is.
The centerpiece is the bill Lawrence rosewood encased blade humbuckers.
This bass has been around the block many many times. The finish is all but missing from the top, and there are bruises everywhere. It's a 30 year old bass that has been gigging in NY for half it's life.
Neck and fingerboard are 8 out of 10. Some wear but straight and smooth, surprisingly nice frets for never having had a fret job.
Electronics at 7.5 out of 10. HAZ labs passive controls, volume tone and blend with two almost useless toggles a kill switch and a phase switch.

Only mod I made was I installed a third strap lock in the rear so I could get better support with a harness system utilizing two straps.

Ideas? Ballpark?
Any help would be appreciated!

Would it have been better to name the post "naked sex funk riot"?

That's how I got people to respond to craigslist ads after all!

Beautiful bass, but I still don't understand the concept of attaching extra wood to the middle(neck) of the bass. Doesn't that just dampen the resonance?

Nice bass. I have no idea what the value might be, that's extremely early.

Its for sale in the classifieds now- I used my version of Occams Razor to establish the price T $3200.00. I'm hoping it will sell so I can buy a KS 5.

Currently there are at least five Ken Smith basses for sale in the classifieds. Lotta people looking to move a lotta high end wood!
