Hi I'm new and here's my bass :)

Hi all

New to these parts, and new to playing bass playing, but Hi, how are we all?

Here's my bass

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

I designed it, a friend of mine's husband built it it is made from African Mahogany, has my initials in pearl in the headstock, and has possibly Fender Jazz pickups, cost me £120 to have built

Hey Simon. Welcome. Neat looking bass you have. The pickups appear to be Precision pickups, not Jazz.

Hi there and welcome. Cool looking bass but it doesn't look very comfortable to play.

Thanks for letting me know, a friend of mine said he thought they were Jazz so y'know? What bass do you have?

Cool bass! Looks like something Entwistle would have dreamed up.

Welcome Simon. Many of us have posted info on our basses and amps in our profile so if you're interested browse away. Cool bass by the way.

Awesome looking and it has your initials in the headstock, uber cool.
You can certainly say that you own a unique bass, one of a kind.
Put removable attachments for four wooden legs on the backside and
it can double as a coffee table between gigs

Welcome to TB. Those look like vintage 70s Dimarzio P-bass pickups in your bass. Very cool.
