It was quite satisfying when they clamped the neck block and that even bead of glue oozed out, and I was all 'look out!' when they were filing the nut on the finished head.
I like my Icon, but I bet the factory tour would not be quite the same.

Those basses are famous for their ****tacular intonation. I should hope they've improved since the sixties but still. |

However, if you play in a Beatles tribute band, the dissonance of the notes in the middle of the Hofner Beatle's bass' neck is part of Sir Paul's sound, IMO.
