Baldwin

I acquired this 1965-1970 Baldwin a few months ago. It replaces one that was stolen about 40 years ago; same color, too!

Adding a new pic because not only did I put a Supertone on my Goldtop Casady, I also got hold of one of these decals to turn it into my "Geordie of Killing Joke homage". I've also added a Silverburst Casady to the arsenal for D/Drop C tuning.

I had to get my Casady modified to hell and back to get it to install properly. It's great for adjustability but as far as a tonal difference, it's marginal at best.

AWESOME!

Geordie Walker is one of my guitar heroes! Vastly underrated. Love Killing Joke and can't wait to see them in May.

There are a pair of washers to lift the screws on the back end, and a height adjustment screw had to be made to fit the front hole. When I had the bridge mounted flush like it was "supposed to be", I had my saddle height maxed and it was still unplayably low!

Those who have never noticed Geordie's unique style and chord voicings aren't paying attention.

The opening chords to love like blood are tattooed on my soul!..... literally bumped into raven before their hammersmith palais gig..... In the 80s.....Geordie kind of stole joy divisions guitar sound and took it to the next level.

Jerry Scheff's boy playing on a Star Bass. Just thought you'd like to see it. Most of the time you see him playing his father's signature model Lackland.

Jason Scheff has been a Warwick endorser for a while now, and his main bass is his Warwick Streamer $$, seen here:

Besides the Star Bass in the video you posted, he's got another custom Star Bass, seen here:

Ha, wow. Now that is signature model material if i ever did see it. Put it out as a Rock Bass and you might have a mover.

Haha, yes - literally a signature model! LOL! FWIW, the Rock Bass Star Bass is now available - not in this pickup configuration though : ) Thanks!

Is the Pro version of the Starbass still around ? Slightly confused, because they seem to be at a similar price point to the rockbass version.

The Pro Series Star Bass has been discontinued, in favor of the Rockbass Star Bass. Retail pricing on the Rockbass Star Bass is about $700-$800 less than the Pro Series. We've spent quite a bit of time with our facility in China to match the quality, at a more desireable price point. Please let me know if you've got any questions. Thanks!

Hey, Warwick Official, if you are connected with Warwick, why don't you put a link to Warwick in your signature, so that those interested in Warwick products will have easier access to them?

It may increase sales.

Just a thought.

Mike
