How do I figure out what this thing is worth?

Here's what I know. I bought this bass from my friends dad about 20 years ago. The last copyright on the neck is 1972. Unfortunately it was defreted a long time ago. Stock tuners. The pickup is a bartolini HI-A and the bridge is all wrong. I think the body is wrong too. I don't even think its a Fender body. The vintage case is pretty beaten up. Thanks guys!

I would look up the price for a 1972 Fender P neck. Then divide it by 4 for the defrettmentness. Then you can donate the body and case :)

Put it for sale on Fleabay with a $0 starting price. Whatever it sales for is its worth. (give or take)

My personal guess, junker heavily modified parts bass- $120.

That's kinda what I figured. It's got a funny story. I was in desperate need of cash about 17 years ago. I wasn't in a band anymore so I sold off all my stuff with every intention of starting over when I wasn't broke anymore. What actually happened... I started playing again 3 months ago lol I ran into the guy I sold it to a month ago and he still had it. Never got into it. Still my stuff in the case and even the strings I had on it. Weird how it came back.
