You've probably got everyones curiosity now!

It wouldn't surprise me if you and Tom Bowlus have as many basses between the two of you as the rest of us combined!

We'll wait to hear more (and pics too)

Cool man, very cool... It looks like it has good balance to boot. Alembics Explorer-shaped basses > Everyone else's, easily... I've only had the privelige to play a Gibson Explorer bass, but an Alembic is definately topping the "Mmm, a loan to pay for my first house? Or an Alembic Exploiter?" list.

Musicman Bongo 5, two humbuckers plus piezo. It has the ability to level cities. Godzilla would like this bass.

Carvin BB75P fretless. Nice bass, good tone. Might sell this soon, to help finance an upgrade to the band's amplification...nothing wrong with the bass, just changing priorities.

SX 5 string Jazz bass. Used at home for noodling and practice.

Richwood Jbass - Dimarzio Model J pickups (series/parallel switches for both the pickups)

That's all I have right now, but I'm pretty statisfied. It beats a lot of MIM jazzes for ½ of the price.

I currently have 4 electrics:

1996 USA Hamer 2-Tek CruiseBass
Early 90's MIJ fretless Fender Jazz Bass
Reverend Rumblefish XL
P-Bass clone

I also have a 1967 Kay M-3 (1/4 size) upright bass, which has been (in more ways than I ever imagined) a real learning experience.
