That's my Holy Grail!
Imho, and just for the music I normally play, necks: the bigger the better; basses: the heavier the better...
Sorry for my different speakin' €. 0,02
Cheers,
Wallace

Cheers,
Wallace | Wallace, you would have loved this Geddy Lee Body with a Classic 50's Precision Neck I popped together for giggles one day. 12lbs. Fattest P neck out there. 70's Snarl.
The neck came off the body to make this P with a Jazz neck.
This is my current fav P with a J neck.
I have to say.. I'm with the P body J neck crowd.

Now I play my RIC for hours with no pain. So even though I dont have the biggest hands and jazz nacks are faster, I prefer larger necks for a pain free existence.

Ive owned 2 Lakland Duck Dunn's because of this and now mostly use my Squier CVP with Lakland JO neck on it. I did have my Squier CV Jazz neck on if for a while but wanted to use the Jazz as well.

I've got a Squier P, a MIJ Jazz, an Alembic with a rather baseball bat like neck profile, short scale jazz, wide-flat Yamaha BB.
Honestly, I just strap them up and play them and never go "I wish this neck were 1/8 inch narrower at the nut"

I fell in love with the neck and now it's pretty much my go-to bass! If I ever get a P, it'll definitely be with a J neck.
