How true are these bass stereotypes?

Yamaha Attitude = shredder
Fender w stickers = punk rocker
5 stringed Fenders = plays in a cover band
Ibanez = Nu metal
Fodera = Jazz
Bass w flats = old skool blues
Stingray = slapper
Rickenbacker = non-shredder
