This is the club for all owners of one or more of Siggi Jaeger's creations, no matter if they're made in Germany or Orange County/CA.
Here's a pic of my X-Over fivestring. I'll post some close-ups, too, just have to take some better pictures. |

It needs a refinish and a fret setup, there are some Le Fay pickups waiting, too. Love this base

| | | | i own a basex 5string fretless that looks pretty much the same like bass_bernds only with 5strings. i put in a fretless-master preamp (silvermachine) and have now a semi-parametric mid control and bass-eq. it is by far the best fretless i ever helt in my hands.

I would go and check out one of the us models. They are not on the "Siggi custom" level but are exeptional in tone and quality/Playability for roughly half the cost of a custom line model.

Siggis basses really are works of art! I played on 3 of them, mine and 2 that friends have and i have to say that they are all differents... The shape is not the same, little details are differents, its like he makes a bass depending on his mood and the wood he has, they almost feel alive, they change and play great somedays but feel strange on others!
I doubt the new US ones have a soul like his do! |

Started playing, loved it, and my mate went "wow, look at the number on the headstock..."it was number 35!
