I like to get hammered and clean and organise my workshop. When I wake up next afternoon, its like the cleaning fairies came!
I have a kind of drunken bass I need to assemble. I get spendy when I beverage and I now have a neck, body, bridge, tuners, PUPs, pickgaurd, and wired control plate. All bought separately on TB after having a few. One of these days I'll slap that sucker together.
It will be the ultimate Talkbass bass.

awsome work my buddy and I also created a drunken bass experiment that's fun to play that's a n unholy collusion of a memphis P, kramer pickups and an olive oil can for a pickguard

Never actually built a bass while UTI, but I did draw one on paper. Stuck with me for years, unbuilt. I did get around to "building" it in 3D though.

See I tried organizing my workshop. It was actually relatively clean, if well worn, before I started. I'm about to attach a different neck on it in a few minutes. This one might be less punk rock because all the tuners match.

Please do! I love seeing the result of unbridled creative fury driven by alcohol

Its not punk rock, its drunk rock. I have some other pickups I might add to it, or at the very least replace the one thats on there. The output is very low.

Way cool. I wonder how the bass might be different depending on the alcohol involved?

I am guessing this is scotch fueled, but what would a tequila fueled bass look and sound like? Vodka? Gin?

Important questions that needs answers.....

I'm positive VH was hammered when he made his frankenguitars.

I'm glad you didn't have to solder. That could have been bad.

would it be possible to see it again but when the bass will have the strings on and when it will be in its "standard playing" conditions?
