'98 American (Standard) would be STB with heel adjust truss ... not MIM Standard machines and custom shop decal .. etc, etc ...

I saw the 55 bids and wondered what I was missing, then checked the bids and the majority are all from 3-4 people, with very little feedback ...

The machines and truss adjust look very much like mim standard.

Everything about that bass looks like a MIM Standard ... except what the seller is showing stuck on the headstock

.. also, I could be wrong, but a Custom Shop bass would carry the serial number that started with 'C' and come with a hardshell case?? .. and with the cheap MIM Standard quality tuners on it ??

... I requested full serial # along with other questions, with no reply .... so if I am missing something here, would be glad to hear where I am mistaken .. but this is MIM Standard as I see it based on components
