These are the ones in current heavy rotation. From the left:
Dean Edge 8-string (really a good instrument, at a low cost)
Warwick Corvette Standard (wonderful)
Spector Rex Brown (with a Nordstrand in the neck position, no bridge pup, and an Aguilar OBP-1 preamp. Killer.)
Kramer 350B (heavily modified - walnut top, EMG HB pup, Hipshot bridge)
At home, a trusty old home-made P Bass and a Sterling SUB.
Is there a support group for this affliction?

Black is beautiful !
"Let's see, what to take to the gig......... I could go with the black one. Or I could go with that black one. No.......that won't work. I know ! I will take the black one that I haven't played in a while, and a black one as a back-up."

So much so that I thought about putting a pickguard on and changing the hardware so I can even see the damn thing. All the hardware is black on it. I guess it's cool, though, in an evil kind of way, lol.

Sorry, given to absurd moments of mediocre verbosity.

I think that black may be one of the most common colors, so the odds of one for sale being black are higher.
