I need some legal help for my purchase. plz help me

I need some legal help for my purchase. plz help me

I am a guitar player also so i have bought Suhr standard guitar at $2700 used at www.makenmusic.com

when i bought it, i was advised that this guitar is made in 2013.

and I received this guitar and the spec sheet says that this guitar is made in 2011.

so I call the owner who's name is Teddy, and explained what i have.

he was very rude , mean , impolite.

i was intending to get some $200 discount. i didn't say anything about discount though.

but he was even cussing me, he said "I don't give a "****""

i was surprised.

because in my whole life , I have never had any music store to cuss on customer.

he says I am the worst customer and I am horrible.

am i really?

i was misled that this guitar is 2013 but it is made in 2011.

he even says that used guitar value goes up, as the instrument goes older.

I am 15 years experienced pro. this doesn't make sence.

unless this is 1960 fender jazz kind of.

last offer he gave me was $50 discount.

but i was already upset to this owner "Teddy"

what can I do to this man?

am i wrong?

am I crazy customer?

plz help me folks, I am going through some worst day in my life.

any advise?

Grab screenshots where it was advertised as 2103 and file a claim with your credit card provider.

Whats the return policy? How long have you had the guitar?

how did you pay. And is your biggest complaint the year it was made?

The first thing I would do is look into the store's return policy.

The second thing I would do is get advice just about anywhere besides on the internet.

this is their return policy, I recieved this guitar yesterday, and called today.

and yes my biggest complaint is about the year becuase i paid $2700 for 2013 guitar, which is almost brand new.

2700 is a lot of cabbage. I'd say you have a right to complain if it was represented as a 2013.

the reason i am doing this is not just becuase of money, his manner was just horrible.

I tried to be nice to him but he cussed me.

they deleted the original sale page so I can't get screen shot.

it was advertised as 2012 guitar but as i called them the person told me this is 2013.

it convinced me to buy it

You have every right to ask for a refund considering the conditions...to the business owners side, carrying high end instruments is a gamble. Dude likely had the guitar new since 2011 it got played enough to not be "new" even though it was never sold, could be taking a loss considering inventory carrying cost. Just saying... cussing out a customer is not acceptable. BBB and contacting Suhr directly is a good idea that one of his dealers is misrepresenting the brand.

Not trying to mess with you, I'm just bored at work...I looked at their website and the only guitars I see that list any kind of year are on a couple of vintage pieces and all of them seem to have the serial numbers listed.

Are you sure you read that it was a 2013?

This is the model of guitar

SUHR GUITARS STANDARD Copperhead Burst .

And I have saved their describtion.

SUHR GUITARS CUSTOM STANDARD W/ EXTRA PICKUPS!
Incredible custom-built boutique electric guitar! Extra set of pickups included!

Just back on trade! Save big!

Sold for 2 weeks, then swapped out for something else

John Suhr makes some of the best custom guitars around and this Suhr Standard is one of them! It's a beautiful boutique guitar with an elegant Quilted Maple top on a lightweight Alder body, Roasted Maple neck and Pau Ferro fingerboard. These woods provide a tonal platform for a versatile electronics compliment with H/S/S configuration. It's topped off with some nice optional extras too- like a matching figured headstock and abalone fingerboard dots and logo.

This guitar was sold to a regular customer for two weeks, then swapped out when we got something in stock that was just a little closer to what the customer was looking for. It's in immaculate condition, as new. If we were most stores we would probably just have re-inventoried it and sold it again as new. However, we don't do that. We made a fair deal and we can save you some money on a basically new guitar, so we will!

The guitar came from Suhr with a pair of JST V60LP pickups and and a JST SSV+ Humbucker. We swapped that set out for a paid of JST ML single coil pickups and a JST SSH+ Humbucker. That is what is currently installed in the guitar. The other set is included in the case. There is also a small chip in the body finish by the trem arm. It is not particularly noticable in person, especially because of the grain pattern and finish color in that area, however, I did try to zoom in an make it look as bad as possible in the picture just to be clear.

Features and Specs of this Custom Standard by John Suhr Guitars:

Alder Body w/ Quilted Maple top
Roasted Maple Neck w/ Pau Ferro fingerboard
Even C medium profile (.840-.920)
10-14" radius
Medium Stainless Steel frets
1.687" nut width
Gotoh 510 2-post Trem w/ solid saddles and steel block
Hipshot locking tuners
Volume / Tone / 5-way switch
JST ML Single-Coil pickups
JST SSH+ Humbucker (bridge)
Copperhead Burst finish w/Binding
Matching figuired headstock
Abalone Dots and Suhr logo
Hardshell case
