Anyway, I have a '87 that I bought brand new when I was stationed in Oklahoma. Definitely a P sounding bass.... but make sure you keep the vol and tone rolled off a bit if you're looking for vintage tones. The 1 11/16" maple necks are KILLER. The Leo sig is on all of the headstocks from that era.
