Hey ppl, Im new on the forum. Here is my Ibanez Tele Copy from the Lawsuit Era that I just finished, has the short scale neck. Nice guitar too play, plan on using it as a stage guitar with my band. Let me know what u guys think.

Thanks for the feedback, The stain I used is called Cabbots Western Jarrah Satin finish, stain and varnish. 3 coats of this, and one extra coat on the edges to give it a kind of two tone effect, I didnt laquer over the top of it because I thought that would make its too shiny and I wanted it too look a little bit worn in. The hardest part of the job was stripping off the ghastly yellow baked enamel, very labour intensive and lots of paint stripper.Artwork was done by a talented friend of mine.
thats a pickup from a telecaster isn't it? with the three point screw pattern...
Too my knowledge yes it is a fender style lipstick pickup, these guitars where made in Japan apparently to a very high quality and where too close to the real deal U.S made fenders which is why Fender sued Ibanez, and these became known as the lawsuit era guitars. I have tried too find out more information about them and technical specs etc. But there is not much around at all, If any one can help me with this would be much appreciated.
