Ibanez AFR/Affirma basses
Hi all - I realize Ibanez basses are not for everyone - me included usually although I have just purchased a BTB1305 from Bass NW and its awesome. An absolute keeper.
A few years ago I bought a 5 string Ibanez Affirma 305 off fellow TBer Slowburnaz. I loved it and but had to sell it and regret doing so to this day. It was seriously the most perfect bass for me but they are very rare. I tried out a few of the EDA905's but they just dont compare. When you do some digging on the net you get an idea of how popular these basses were, why would Ibanez not reissue this model (or even such classics as the Musician 924). I'm sure they would sell. Does anyone know how to contact Ibanez to make suggestions? When you hit the contact link in Australia it only takes you to the distributors site. And while I'm ranting same goes for Aria/Aria Pro II. They made some very cool basses in the 80's (several custom SB's and Integras).
Does anyone agree and if so why would these companies not realise there is a market for these products?
