Played one at GC and almost bought it. Very nice IMO, just didn't need a bass. Pretty things.

I sometimes gig an AGB 200. It is beautifully made and looks gorgeous. With flats it gets that old school thump, similar too but much better than a Hofner in my experience. Great for blues, roots music, rockabilly etc., and not a million miles away from an upright bass. Strung with rounds it can sound surprisingly modern, with plenty of tonal variation from the two pickups. It won't give you the in-the-gut punch of a Fender P you want for punk, heavy rock etc. but in certain genres it works wonderfully. It is also a pleasure to play with it's shortish scale and light weight.

Thanks for the response Just checking for any issues or complaints before adding possibly the AFB 200 to the arsenal
