this is trade offer from my local CL. I've had the amp up for sale for a while now, no takers.
I have no clue what value of this bass might be.

You are right about the Badass, tho.

After much thought I went through with the trade. sounds great and feels pretty nice too. The amp was just sitting around as a back up. I know these basses only value out to around 3 bones tops but for me the trade made sense. My first reaction is that the bass is under valued.
any way cheers to all and thanks for your input.

| | | Hi all, this is my SR955efm,
it is a spot model made for Musikmesse Frankfurt 2008.
5pc maple/bubinga neck-thru
flamed maple/maple wing body
mr-4 bridge
bartolini mk1 pu
vari-mid III hq 3-band eq
Pretty hard to get some info about this one.
Here is what I got from Ibanez support: SR950 Spot Models.
For me it looks like SR1005efm from 2007 catalog but with mk1 pickups instead of custom and satin varnish finish instead of natural finish. |

| | | | Spot model, a short series of “try something new” or (as in this case) “lets make something cool of these parts we have lying around”.
Never in mass production.
