My new bass, got it on Monday: Ibanez SR 375M. Sounds and plays great, and it was a great deal

Is this a good trade?

83 ( I think) Roadstar II (RB650). for my Markbass LMIII.
this is trade offer from my local CL. I've had the amp up for sale for a while now, no takers.

I have no clue what value of this bass might be.

Wow, that's a beauty. Don't know its value but the amp should be around $400 in good condition. Maybe a little less for a fast sale.

Dimarzio Model P+J pickups and the badass bridge look like upgrades so not stock, but I imagine it sounds killer, personally my fav bass I have has the old cream colored Dimarzio P+J pickups.

You don't know those are DiMarzio's in that bass; The stock pickups look exactly like DiMarzios. You are right about the Badass, tho.

Hm, I could be wrong about the pickups then, it was the pole-pieces that suggested to me they were Dimarzio, I didn't know Ibanez made pickups with those large sized hex adjustable pole pieces, my bad.

yes pick ups are original, bridge is bad ass II. After much thought I went through with the trade. sounds great and feels pretty nice too. The amp was just sitting around as a back up. I know these basses only value out to around 3 bones tops but for me the trade made sense. My first reaction is that the bass is under valued.
any way cheers to all and thanks for your input.

Hi all, this is my SR955efm,
it is a spot model made for Musikmesse Frankfurt 2008.

5pc maple/bubinga neck-thru
flamed maple/maple wing body
mr-4 bridge
bartolini mk1 pu
vari-mid III hq 3-band eq

Pretty hard to get some info about this one.
Here is what I got from Ibanez support: SR950 Spot Models.
For me it looks like SR1005efm from 2007 catalog but with mk1 pickups instead of custom and satin varnish finish instead of natural finish.

Spot model, a short series of “try something new” or (as in this case) “lets make something cool of these parts we have lying around”.
Never in mass production.

Is that the SR400QM? Have you owned an Ibanez prior to this one, & how does it compare? I'm dying to get one of these but don't want to judge it by looks only.
