Ibanez looking Squier headstock

This Squier bass was in my local CL. It has an Ibanez style headstock with 2 pegs on the top and 2 on the bottom. When did Squier have this design? I've never seen this before.

Yup, they did those for a bit. Think its an MB4, but don't hold me to that.

Sure is an MB-4. I've always seen this as Squier's take on the Fender Prophecy bass.

MB stands for "Modern Bass" by the way. It was their low end model, targeted to the kids who didn't want a PB or JB I guess.
