New Year's Day. What basses do you own right now, and how many of them were in the stable a year ago today?

For me:
1982 Fender "Fullerton" '57 Reissue
1966/67 Fender Coronado II
No-name upright
(Incoming: 1983 Fender P)
(Under construction: gold sparkle P Bass with a mudbucker)

As of this time last year, the only ones I owned were the Fullerton '57 and the upright. Everything else comes and goes.

I own only two basses, neither one of which I owned at this time last year.

I have been less susceptible to GAS in 2012 as I ordered a Fodera, but still made a few purchases/trades.

Fender American Standard Precision 5-string and a Reverend Rumblefish 4-string. That's it. I had four or five basses at various points in 2012, but got rid of everything unnecessary. 2013 could be the first year in a long time I don't buy or sell a bass.

Instrument plan for 2013:
1. F Bass BN6, Trans Blue NPF finish - I want to order a new build for the first time.
2. Either a MusicMan Bongo 6, secondhand Fender Steve Bailey Fretless 6, or Warwick Steve Bailey Fretless Artist (Proline) Series 6.
3. I also want another guitar. Either a Gibson Explorer (Black) or a Fender American Standard Stratocaster (Olympic White).
4. Also GASing for the Ibanez Gerald Veasley budget model GVB36.

I like how so many people are saying that 2013 will be simpler: less buying, selling, etc. I'm not kidding myself however. I'll still be cruising the classifieds (from both sides). It'll probably be just as busy as the last year. ;)

at this time last year i had a modified SX P-Bass and an SX Jazz bass. i had 2 other basses that were on loan for a few years but i actually got em back this year. one was a Squier P-bass special in british racing green and the other is a trans red Aslin Dane AMB200. shortly after new year's last year i bought an Ernie Ball Ray 34CA but i sold it a few months ago. and most importantly i am the proud owner of a Warmoth PJ bass.

i also want to mention that i got a Fender Studio Bass Amp last year, i love that thing
