Epi T-Bird Pro - Nope
G&L SB-2 - Nope
G&L L-2000 - Yup
Yamaha BB800 - Yup
Yamaha BB1000 - Yup
Reverend Rumblefish XL - Yup
Squier P Deluxe - Yup
Pan P - Yup

The SB-2 eclipsed my L-2000 as my "main" bass this year. Pretty interesting to me, anyway.

Aside from the Epi and the SB-2, 2012 was a rig building year. Built up a 2x15 cab and also got my backup rig together. Fun times!

As much as I love TB, I'm wondering if I'm the only one that is hesitant to post everything I own on a public forum thread, knowing how easy it is to to a little online research and get an address?

1978 Jazz that i have owned for 10+ years. Amazing Bass!
1976 Fender P that i bought this year. My current workhorse.
That is pretty much it.

I'm GAS free on basses but would love an Orange OR120 for use as a bass head!

Wow, some serious GAS going on in this thread!

My son and I built three for donation to charity, one of which is gone and the other two (see avatar) are to go in the spring.

As for personal stable, in order of fondness:

- Musicman Stingray HH
- Spectorcore Fretless
- Fender Mustang Reissue
- Squier J prototyping platform
- Squier P prototyping platform
- Steinberger paddle bass (5 string - all others 4)

Changes during the year...

- Got rid of my first and last AEB because of ergonomics
- Traded Allen Woody for Mustang because of ergonomics

Predictions for 2013/2014...

- Add quad coils at the bridges of both Squiers
- Maybe add dual or triple jacks to Squiers
- Build with 3 alike pickups (eg: 3 MM, 3 Big Splits, etc)
- Sell Mustang or Steinberger to fund build?
- One new effect
- One charity build (maybe another Guitar/Bass set)

The charity work helps control the GAS a little and is more acceptable to my better half than gear piling up in the house.

I got rid of a few things in 2012, but the two basses I'm left with have been with me for many years. My '02 Fender American Deluxe Precision, and '08 Rickenbacker 4004Cii. Even my amp and cabs have remained constant for better than 6 yrs now. with synthesizers, a few have come and gone this past year, most noteably, a Waldorf Blofeld kb has arrived, and an Access Virus kb has departed.

Happy new year everyone!

I started the year with:

Sadowsky NYC 4 jazz with VTC
Fender PJ

and ended it with:

Fender 62 AVRI jazz with Fralins (nice but probably won't last 2013)
Fender 57 AVRI P with flats
MM Stingray 4

I would really like to replace the 62 AVRI with a vintage Fender jazz

I have a few. Only two were added to my stable this past year.

Ibanez:
1994 Ibanez SR 500 Soundgear Bass - Black.
1995 Ibanez SR 500 Soundgear Bass - Crimson Metallic (Custom Painted).
2010 Ibanez SR 500 PBBBF Limited Edition Soundgear Bass - Poplar Burl Brown Burst. Finish exclusive to Guitar Center only.
2010 Ibanez AEB-10 BK Acoustic Bass. Black with Black tuners. Also exclusive to Guitar Center only.

Music Man Basses:
2010 Music Man Stingray Classic 4 H Breast Cancer Awareness Bass - Shell Pink with Breast Cancer Ribbon painted on the pick guard.
2009 Music Man Stingray 4 H - Black.
2005 Music Man Sterling 4 H - Natural.
2009 Music Man Bongo 4 HH Dargies Delight II - Dargie Delight Green.
2010 Music Man Bongo 4 H BFR Roasted Neck - Black Sugar.
2012 Music Man Bongo 4 Hp - Candy Apple Red with Abalone pick guard.
2013 Music Man Bongo 4 HHp PDN Honey Roasted - Honey Burst Finish with Roasted Neck. (This was ordered in April 2012 but the order got lost and wasn't discovered until September when the others were starting to come out. Music Man and Bass Central were both excellent on their customer service and still got the bass built after the fact. As a result, it will be the only 2013 model and the only 4 HHp model. It should also be done any day now and I will probably receive it sometime in early February.) Again, excellent customer service by both Music Man and Bass Central for still building this bass after the fact. There is a reason why I only use those two companies.
