It's official. I've lost my mind.*(Kala/Hofner)

It's official, I've lost my mind.

But I'm happy and having fun.

I had a few basses lying around that seemed like I "needed" a long while back but I never used in reality because my MIA Jazz pretty much does everything I need, even more so since I had a Series/parralel push/pull pot added.

I am having a great time playing this Hofner B bass which I traded for the day before yesterday and this Kala I traded for yesterday. I've read many of your posts concerning these two over the long while and filed them away. I'm hoping these will be useful in actual gigs in the future not just for fun.

YAHOO.

Congratulations. The Höfner tone is one you can't duplicate with a Jazz and they play a lot differently (of course), so you are in for a new adventure there. Never played a U bass, but I've heard they are a lot of fun as well.

Thanks. It had the black one for years. Just changed it last year.
