The NAMM Show issue of a magazine I subscribe to said $8775.

No thanks. To each their own, that's why they make basses like that.

I'd never buy one, but I wouldn't mind seeing how those pickups compare to early 60's mudbuckers.

$8775??? For that price, Jack Bruce had better come with it!....With a $7000 off coupon! Yikes.

I dig the high gloss finish. I was never very keen on the flat finishes that Warwick usually uses

I'd rather spend about a third to a quarter of that and get a good vintage Gibson EB3-L.

But the non-German made ones will be about $1400 street (from the latest announcement). Will have a few less options (no Christmas lights on the neck, etc.) but it does look interesting. I would love to try one out.

Not a real lover of Warwicks or their prices, I'd see how many vintage Fender Precisions I could get for same price.

Looks sharp. Would love one, but if the price quoted above is right, then I'd have to drive it to work and live in it, to afford one.

That price can't possibly be right. You have to have an extra number in there somewhere

High list prices allow dealers to offer a big discount when they see the need to do so , when the bass sits on the wall.

It is a silly numbers game.
Not to diss the basses themselves, just the pricing strategy.
