| | | | Alot of non-Tony Stevens Foghat, most notably the Fool For The City album. The pioneering "Slow Ride" funk-rock groove is all Nick Jameson J-Bass. Likewise, Craig McGregor used a Jazz bass during most of his tenure with the band in the 70s.
Older Judas Priest is Ian Hill and his sunburst 70s Jazz.

| | | | To elaborate on Rush: Some songs from Permanent Waves through Signals were on the Jazz. Tom Sawyer definitely, not sure about others. From Counterparts onward Geddy has only used the Jazz, except for the encore on Snakes and Arrows Live.

**Edit** John Deacon of Queen...can't forget him.

Jeff Ament in Pearl Jam plays Modulus jazz basses pretty extensively. Tal Wilkenfeld played a Sadowsky jazz with Jeff Beck. Darryl Jones plays Fender and Lakland jazz basses with the Rolling Stones. Adama Clayton plays Fender and Lakland jazzes (as well as Precisions) with U2. The Sadowsky Jason Newsted played with Metallica was a jazz style.
It's a very long list...

Tom Schultz played on the first record apparently .. He said it was an EBO but with a P Pickup in it that replaced the original Humbucker.. On tour, the bass player used a Jazz bass, I saw them at MSG back in the 70s... Quote:
