I know folks like them for gospel and blues, but NYHC Punk stuff is where they belong! I will post the pic. here shortly of his two!

Still have the fiend skull shirt he signed, and a glow in the dark one I bought there. Both are in pretty poor shape now but oh well. Still on the fence about their newest album. But then again it's been ages since they released any "new" material. Congratulations man. |

I met Jerry and Doyle eons ago at Lolapalooza. while im not a fan of the current Misfits music (which is cool because i wasnt when i met em either) the Misfits were and still are a staple in my lifes soundtrack and Jerry was always a class act. He's a very hard working/hard playing dude and i respect the hell out of him. Hes never halfa$$ed a show. Never been a giant Dez fan but i gotta say when anyone fires up a lil Rise Above im all in.
congrats on your experience. I have always hated the fact that I started playing long after my biggest influences had all went their seperate ways so im deeply jealous that you got to play with any incarnation of the Misfits...thats big bro and theres a WORLD full of musicians running out of chances to play with the heroes they grew up with. You rock my man. |

I had a 3-D Design class (woodworking, etc) and he was dating this really pretty girl in our class. She was always talking about how her boyfriend was in the Misfits, but we thought she was confused because she was French or something and spoke with an accent. So then one day he just showed up to our class (I'm guessing to keep an eye on her w/ all the college dudes) and sat in with the class. He actually knows a little bit about woodworking, so it was cool.
I mean, who's gonna tell Jerry "No"? Our instructor sure wasn't going to say anything...
Funny thing was, a friend of mine in the class was a HUGE Misfits fan, and he almost crapped when Jerry showed up. He sat there quietly hand-sanding some wooden demon wings which he explained were going to become parts for a custom bass he was building. Wonder if he ever finished it?
I think he even gave some free concert tickets to my friend. A really nice guy, I have to say. Wonder if he's still with that girl....
