Just back from Bass Guitar Show in London

Best basses played: Fodera Monarch Deluxe heel joint ( indeed best I've ever played)' followed by Roscoe Signature Century 5.

Best live show: Jonas Hellborg. Especially slap finale ( and I'm generally not a fan of slap)

Best Masterclass: Peter Hook. Funny, insightful, brutally honest.

Monarch Deluxe neck joint - pure sex

Jonas Hellborg is really interesting live. The trio of him, Lee Sklar and Steve Bailey at BPL year before last was quite fun.

Jonas' set was my highlight too - REALLY great to see an artist of that standing stretching, trying new things, taking some risks in an all improv set. Really inspiring music!

Was Jonas playing his signature Warwick bass or something else?
