Just got a Squier Affinity 5'er

What a great bass she is! I had shyed away from this line (Affinity) because they are so low priced I figured they couldn't be much good. I've been shopping for a cheap 5'er for awhile now and when I saw this one at GC for $175 new, I tried it out. It plays wonderfully and sounds great! I'm very impressed and happy with this purchase. Who'da thunk it? Not me.

nice find, normally 5ers are like at least +250$. record yourself playing it if you could, or maybe a pic.

That's a steal at $175. The Affinity's sometimes get a bad rap here, but they are actually very decent basses. The 5 string is particularly nice.

I have 1 and its unbeweivable, was gonna do a preamp, bridge, tuners. Stop!! Hold the presses.. The bass is equipped with standard hardware that does the job. Pups are nice and warm just right. So no, I didn't upgrade a thing. However, I did sheild the control cavity(no hummmmmm). People sleep on these basses, they are real diamonds in the ruff. I rock mine proudly and kick a lot of booty. Its not the instrument, but the man playing it. Got milk? No, but I got skills lol.
