Ive had 4 ubasses and have seen the good and bad. The rumbler, in my humble opinion, is crap. Another hundred bucks will get you the spruce top and it's miles better. Better wood, better tuners, evenly cut nut slots, proper electronics (most of the time, kalas qc isn't great), playable action, better finish, smoother neck......
As you can tell, I don't think much of their "budget" offering. My advice is this: go to a Sam ash (if you're near one). They should have at least one ubass to try. Between samash's own promotions, or whatever musicisnsfriend or GC is offering (they'll match competitors coupons) you should be able to get the ubass out the door for about $400.
