For that kind of money I'm not sure I would bite. I've never heard of the builder but he must be good they're putting the labella name on it.

I think it looks really nice...but you're right. What is there to differentiate it from anyone else's P-bass offering?

Nope. I've got a 62RI P that was nowhere near that price point.

Looks awesome, but yeah I wouldn't pay nearly that much for a P bass.

Boy, that sure looks like a 1962...something...something...bass. Not sure I'd plunk down $3k for an instrument I've never heard of before.

LaBella should have worked harder. The world does need another $3K P-Bass.

with the boutique fender knockoff market already so glutted with established makers, I wonder how this idea ever got the green light?..my guess is we will see a limited run of these basses, then they will become cool collector's pieces for people who really love their deep talkin' flats...

Might just be me, but it looks like they slightly shrunk/modified the lower horn for more upper register access?

Love how a filthy rug (cracker crumbs?) was chosen as the background for the photos used in their first bass offering.

Unproven maker selling a P for $3000 that I could buy from Sadowsky, Fender and many other great builders for similar $$$.

Sorry, not something I would jump on.

I like their strings though!

I'd never even think about buying that, even if it weren't a P-bass. Notice that there's no access to the truss rod at either end of the neck. You have to take the neck off to do a setup. How dumb is that?

They sure throw the term "hand carved" around a lot.

3 grand for another p-bass clone with an ugly headstock...

Mas Hino builds, old and new

Pensa, Atelier Z. Not unproven, has history of bass making. You guys seem more interested in bashing it than finding out more about it. I do agree with you about another expensive Fender clone, but people buy them every day.
