Really? Why would it be worth more than a hand-finished bass that had been cut by a CNC router? The difference would be in how much labor cost the builder has in it. It wouldn't necessarily be better.

Agreed. Aren't all Wish Basses handmade as well?

Obviously. It'd be pretty tough to program a CNC machine to do that to a piece of wood.

that's not as ridiculous as it might seem.
there are plenty of places to get "licensed fender parts" and put together a P bass for in this ballpark, and, even builders doing it.
