I love that I can quickly roll-off the mids and SNAP! instant vintage tone without taking anything away from the other spectrum of tones. Incredible. The high end tone cuts through like a samurai sword and the bottom end is thick, heavy and perfect! Playability is flawless and the 19mm spacing wasn't an issue, as I'm used to 16.5mm-17mm.
I really wanted a 44-02D and settled for this. I still want/need a 4 banger, so this will hopefully be traded for what I really want. Glad I got this to hear and play it. Now I'm hooked on Laklands.
Nice! Lakland claims another victim. The LH-3 system really deserves a lot of love, I think Bo and JP knocked it out of the park with that one.

YES new thread!

So...here's a lot of 55-60 beauty. Still love this bass, it needs a little setup though.

But of course I know there's only one you guys want.

That was a high bar that may be very difficult to meet now.

Hey Greg
Of course there are always exceptions to a rule. This from a 2011 model from a known US bass maker's production line.

I guess I need a number now, too, as I just acquired a 2005 44-64 "Bob Glaub" Signature. I don't even have it yet, but it's on the way, and here's an image from the previous owner:
