DJ5 should arrive today so I can take it to rehearsal tomorrow.
Last night while playing the Fender P, my thoughts kept wandering to, "gee, I wonder what a Lakland would sound like for this fill here?" What ever happened to "love the bass(es) you're with?"
I can't afford to fall in love with USA's. I need to stick to Skylines. Training wheels, people. Training wheels.

Btw...any scores this past weekend? | Unfortunately not. Only females, which my permit doesn't cover.
Here's hoping that burled 44-94 goes to the right place...
I just noticed that there's a buckeye/rosewood one that's got a crazy top. Good thing it's:
A) not a give-string, and
B) sold.

Short of hitting the power ball, I seriously doubt I could or would drop 10K or so on a bass.
I sure would love a US Buckeye Burl in my crystal ball
Trying to talk myself into rolling a few "other brand " basses to obtain it.
Yeah, saw the other buckeye that was sold.
THAT one is truly the one I would want.
Sadly someone already made it theirs sigh
