New thread time!

overbyr, congrats on the DPLE II. I agree with Gary, it's awesome. I have a Dark Starred Lakland P myself. If you haven't already, try flats on it--sweetness!

Texan, you are correct--D'Addarios are the stock strings on Lakies, at least at the moment. GHS makes (or at least used to) the Lakland-branded strings, though.

I still think the orange bass is the sexiest one you have, Markus...

That copper color is awesome.

You guys are killing me!

I blew my cash on an AVRI this week. I am so ashamed.

Still no Lakie P.

...and you could have bought a Lakie for the same price. The AVRI's are nice though.

946.00 for a shiny new AVRI 62 P 3tsb black friday deal. At that price it's not like I can't make it go away quickly without taking a horrific beating.

I am waiting for someone.....anyone in this group to develop a bad gambling, drug, women, alcohol problem and be forced to fire sale something wonderous at a price that I can afford.. Pick a vice, any vice, other than collecting Laklands.

MarkusBass, that sir, is taunting !

Mrs Zoomie is out of town. Rehearsal cancelled last night as one of the guys is sicker than a dog. Decided to wag my butt solo with the pooch. Didn't want to fire up the B-15N and the only cab I had at the house was this little 210.

I just can't cough up my fur ball on the tort. It has to go.

It's a shortscale, right?

I have a little question: I'm looking at changing the control plate on my 55-60 to a stack knob control plate. Would a standard size control plate fit? Or do I have to order a special one from Lakland?

I REALLY like the stacked knob set-up. You get tons of control that is not achievable with the VVT set-up. I was blown away that my wife paid attention to every detail when she bought my bass.

That's exactly why I want it It's a quite expensive upgrade, though...

No...it's standard scale. A stacked control plate will bolt right up, but you won't have a perfect fit between the pickguard and the plate.
