IIRC all the ones from Indonesia are, the Korean made were not. Should tell you which one you have on back of headstock.
I have had three now, two Indo and one Korean. The first Indo JO I had was full of small flaws that no one but myself would notice, but they were too much for me to write off and it had to go. The next two which I still have are very good, especially my Korean 55-02 - it is an extremely nice player.

thanks for the info I see my spelling error I am sick with the flu and not thinking straight and spell check don't know that word. But i got you as my wing man thanks.I don't think there is anything to do to this bass it has Nordy's in it , The 1st owner didn't like the Bart sound and did the swap and ended up buying a Mike Null and fell out of love with the Lakland to my good fortune. I say that now with it in hand 2 days,we will see how it goes.It is my first real 5er so this is a new ball game for me.I await all the info and help from the community here. Cio for now

And just because I don't get to come around here much anymore...

It's gonna hurt to see that one leave, although maybe not as much as the BG5 proto or Radioactive Oatmeal

My Korean made 44-02 was Plek'd. Couldn't the shop tell you from the serial number?

Wowza! Can anyone help me out with some info on this beauty? Is this a refurb'd Skyline, 'cause from where I'm sitting I think I can see that decal on the headstock, and also, it looks like a Skyline bridge (matte saddles)... So IIRC you owned a LOG Bass didn't you? I'm presuming a neck swap, or ordered one from Lakland. I dunno, just guessing, but it's a shame you are selling what is another stunning bass.

Balance Pot

Hello,
Does anyone know what value of balance pot to put on the LH-3 Preamp for 55-02?
I'm having trouble with my pot, the center detend doesn't act like one, it doesn't blend between 2 pickup.
if I wanted to use both of my pickups, I really have to search around 1/4 of a turn, and it's on one precise spot, nothing else, if I go too much or too less it will act like a switch for the pickups..drives me nuts..

Great Bass nonetheless

Thank You for kind response.

Yep, it kills in the mix!

I got to gig my new DPLEII last night and it didn't disappoint. It cut through the mix like a champ and was a joy to play!

Now, I know we can't all be bassagent, but...

Most Thank You!!....
now where can I find 50k blend in Indonesia?...(Just a retoric question, no need to answer)..

Maybe I should change it into vol-vol instead of vol-blend, because it's very hard to find a 50k blend, there only 500k or 250k blend pot on my local...what do guys think?..., I assume it would be either 500k or 250k of volume pot needed.

Thanks again...
