I have had three now, two Indo and one Korean. The first Indo JO I had was full of small flaws that no one but myself would notice, but they were too much for me to write off and it had to go. The next two which I still have are very good, especially my Korean 55-02 - it is an extremely nice player.

I say that now with it in hand 2 days,we will see how it goes.It is my first real 5er so this is a new ball game for me.I await all the info and help from the community here. Cio for now

My Korean made 44-02 was Plek'd. Couldn't the shop tell you from the serial number?

So IIRC you owned a LOG Bass didn't you? I'm presuming a neck swap, or ordered one from Lakland. I dunno, just guessing, but it's a shame you are selling what is another stunning bass.

| | | | Balance Pot Hello,
Does anyone know what value of balance pot to put on the LH-3 Preamp for 55-02?
I'm having trouble with my pot, the center detend doesn't act like one, it doesn't blend between 2 pickup.
if I wanted to use both of my pickups, I really have to search around 1/4 of a turn, and it's on one precise spot, nothing else, if I go too much or too less it will act like a switch for the pickups..drives me nuts..
Great Bass nonetheless
Thank You for kind response.

Now, I know we can't all be bassagent, but...

Maybe I should change it into vol-vol instead of vol-blend, because it's very hard to find a 50k blend, there only 500k or 250k blend pot on my local...what do guys think?..., I assume it would be either 500k or 250k of volume pot needed.
Thanks again...
