The entire maple neck was stained black - just like Doug's. But alas, Carl said these would be the last and only two necks he would do that treatment on. I guess the process is a bit of a bear. |

SL | Yeah, I know what you mean about the playability. The neck and fretwork on my Skyline Duck are perfect. That's one of the reasons it's the only Precision style bass I've been really happy with. The vintage frets are great, too. Slides just sound great, even with my monkey fingered technique.
