Wow wow wow. I'm a new Skyline owner (times two as of later today! DD and DJ4). Now you have set off GAS pains anew with that lovely natural finish and jazz neck.

Enjoy!!

Cool - but I don't believe that's a natural finish or a jazz neck.

And I thank you for the correction! A lovely piece of work even if I didn't fully appreciate the subtleties.

My most recent set of twins. Fraternal, acquired separately. Also my first Lakies. They are nice players and easy on the eyes...IMHO of course! Both are 2007 Skylines.

On the Ampeg grill? He was endorsing Ampeg and Lakland about the same time IIRC...

Thanks, basspraiser. You were really the one who brought about this trade, for which I also thank you. There was some debate whether the P pups are Hanson Vintage or Nordstrand. I'm not sure, but they both look good to me. I'm going to play and gig it first before making a decision on the J conversion.

If anyone cares, the Fender Jazz in the middle in the pic below is what I traded for this apparently somewhat unique Lak fiver. This Jazz is a great bass of its kind, but I've moved on tone-wise. Even trade IMO.
