I know someone who was selling a very similar one...

this is actually one of a limited edition LOG bass.
It is actually butterescotch....the neck is the standard Lakie 5er neck...very comfy IMHO...

any idea which pickup it has? | Thanks, basspraiser. You were really the one who brought about this trade, for which I also thank you. There was some debate whether the P pups are Hanson Vintage or Nordstrand. I'm not sure, but they both look good to me. I'm going to play and gig it first before making a decision on the J conversion.
If anyone cares, the Fender Jazz in the middle in the pic below is what I traded for this apparently somewhat unique Lak fiver. This Jazz is a great bass of its kind, but I've moved on tone-wise. Even trade IMO.
