Especially stoked with my bass tone.
Gave it a very slight overdrive and everyone was blown away by my Lakland's tone. | Cool! Link us up to it if you can.

Maybe the bass you looked at was from one of those batches.
Lakland will fix any issues..... | Any idea who I should mail at lakland about this ? I have a bass with the same issue, so I guess it's one of the same batch.

Now, must decide which Lakie jazz to keep...this, or 2007 DJ4 in LPB?? Both are excellent. I think the Chis get the edge but it is close!!

I already had three Fender Jazz basses that are all keepers. The War Department is starting to catch on...and I love Precisions too! (Including my DD.)

I just (I mean just) got a 2008 JO-5 off of eBay for $800 with Aero pickups and Audere JZ3 preamp. The seller also has the original preamp and shipping them with the bass.
My question is - What is the original preamp in a 2008 JO-5?
Thanks :-)

Question for the experts: Does Lakland ever sell parts? Tuners, pickguards and the like? |

The pots are CTS and the cap looks like a Sprague (I have the passive plate).

That is the sound I was looking for, great combination. I never liked those strings on any other instrument.

Thanks :-)

Some of these custom lakies are just incredible! Just curious, Is it an easy process to order these custom models, or do you do it through certain connections to the company?
Glad to see the LOG is still alive! (BTW, I humbly own a fretless 44-01, thinking a US 44-64 is my next axe, but would love to customize it slightly ) | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
