Somebody told me once that there's no money below the 5th fret...I thought that was pretty hilarious

I've checked both of my basses and I can't find money anywhere on them... I even looked under the pickguard.

I almost never play below the 5th fret.

I ordered a rosewood neck for the cherryburst, It will have blocks soon as well.

The eagle has landed!!

A day late but at first glance looks like it made the trip ok.

Only opened it for a moment in the chilly garage to initially inspect. Did not want to keep it open in the warm house after being out in the cold on fedex trucks.

Will plug it in this afternoon and change strings.
Cannot wait to finally give my ears a load of 44-94 goodness.

Initially I cannot believe how light it is...
And how amazing the neck feels!!!
I have a funny feeling this will be my all time favorite!

Th BEM fretboard is beautiful as well.
And the burl is off the charts BEAUTIFUL!!

THANK YOU LAKLAND!!

Thanks Texan
Been eyeballing this beauty for about a year and a half on BC site.
Finally broke down and rolled two very loved basses to grab it.
Could not resist the force any longer
And Maybe Markus had a little to do with pushing me over the edge once AGAIN LOL

Well I have you to thank man for pushing me to buy that first Lakland...the 44-07...
And now this 44-94...
So far no complaints

The necks on 44-07...44-94 and Scheff blow EVERYTHING else I have owned out of the water.
And I have owned a ton of insanely beautiful basses.
These are just so thin and fast...fantastic!
My Alembic Orion is very similar in neck profile AND is the only Ebony board bass I have left.

As much as I like the USA Spector one off I have...
With that chubby neck profile and tiny body, it might have to end up on the selling block after the holidays???

Blows my mind that wood can actually look like THIS!!????
Mother nature surely makes some beautiful stuff.
Looks more like Art or a painting than "wood".

Don't be hatin' on the US 44-07 or the USJS4 #007... Those guys need love too!

600watts sounds a bit weak to me. Let me know if you want me to send up my GBE1200 to get the party started right.

LOL
Not hating on those, no way... no how Gordo!
For my home office music room, the Mesa MPulse 600 running through the two Mesa PH410 cabs is WAY MORE than is needed
One word...DEAF!!! LOL
But I love it!

You CAN however send up that drop dead gorgeous Copper 44-94 I am first in line for...and LOVE!
No sure I will be sending it back though?????
